Our vision

We are an art consultancy specializing in the development, management, and expansion of modern and contemporary art collections, with a focus on the Latin American, European, and North American markets.

We provide comprehensive advisory services for private collectors, museums, institutions, and real estate projects, guiding both acquisitions and sales –through auctions and the private market– and helping shape collections with vision and character.

Our services

We offer a personalized and strategic approach to art collecting, with an active presence in the world's leading art markets. These are our core pillars:

Acquisition Advisory

We guide each client through the process of identifying and acquiring artworks, evaluating authenticity, provenance, and condition. We negotiate prices and terms, and provide clear analysis of value and appreciation potential. Our goal is to support informed, future-oriented decisions.

Connection to the Art Market

Clients gain direct access to the intricate art world through galleries, fairs, auction houses, artists, and collectors—unlocking opportunities in both public auctions and private sales. With active participation in leading art fairs across Latin America, the United States, and Europe, we help navigate a complex system with discernment, sensitivity, and VIP access.

Collection Development

We build collections with identity. Whether starting from scratch or bringing coherence to an existing group, we propose long-term acquisition strategies. We focus on understanding the client’s desires, interests, and values to shape a collection that is both personal and lasting.

Documentation & Management

All logistical and legal aspects are carefully managed: transport, insurance, conservation, restoration, installation, and storage. Each artwork is also accompanied by thorough documentation, including certificates, inventories, and catalogues—because a well-maintained collection is one that endures.

Our mission is to create long lasting relationships between collectors, artists, and artworks, understanding that a great collection is not built on formulas but on genuine passion.

We also offer experiences connected to the art world, such as private visits to artists’ studios, talks, and guided tours of fairs and biennials around the world.

Flavia Masetto
Founder & Partner

Flavia Masetto, founder of Masetto Art Advisory, is Argentine and grew up in Brazil in an artistic environment. She holds a degree in Textile Design from the University of Buenos Aires and studied painting with argentine artist Carlos Cañás. After completing her studies, she moved to London, where she lived for almost six years. She worked in finance as a marketing specialist for alternative investment funds in London and New York. This experience gave her a strategic and global outlook on the complex and heterogeneous world of contemporary art. In 2011 Flavia started her art consultancy firm, focusing on creating international art collections.

Between 2016 and 2018, she led the private sales department at Roldán Auctions in Buenos Aires, where she developed a wide network of collectors and deep expertise in 20th-century Argentine art. She has also promoted international exchanges between artists and galleries in Argentina and the United States. In 2024, Flavia launched the series Piso 11, a cycle of pop-up gatherings in collaboration with galleries, held in carefully selected architectonic spaces outside the traditional museum and gallery circuit. Flavia is part of the research team of the postgraduate program in Art Economics at Fundação Getulio Vargas University in Brazil. She also collaborates as an ambassador for the ArPa fair in São Paulo and as a consultant on Argentine art for The Independent 20th Century in New York.

Piso 11

Piso 11 is an initiative that serves as a platform for exhibiting art in collaboration with galleries and artists, hosted in intimate, carefully selected spaces outside the traditional circuit. The first edition took place in Flavia’s apartment, on the 11th floor of a building in Buenos Aires. Guests shared a warm experience with good wine, food, and a curated selection of artworks. The project aims to create exclusive gatherings in private homes and other spaces where architecture, design, and art engage in a fluid dialogue.
